The Sounds of Shoreditch – Electro Swing

jemstone

Electro swing fuses together the genres of swing, jazz, hip hop and house into an eclectic mishmash of sounds. Unsurprisingly this makes electro swing the perfect match for the vintage clothes wearing Shoreditch hipsters.

The sounds of electro swing are perfectly epitomised by the producer Jem Stone. To celebrate his pulsating electro swing beats we offer to you this FREE cheeky bootleg that has been causing major damage in his recent DJ sets. Sexy Muthaflapper is laced with Jem Stone’s current electro swing vibe which can be heard from his EP Jem Stone\’s Perpetual Lotion, out now on Freshly Squeezed.

Clement Marfo & The Frontline – Overtime (Royal T Remix)

Clement Marfo & The Frontline – “Overtime” (Royal T Remix)

November 14th sees the launch of the new single from Clement Marfo and The Frontline “Overtime” and to showcase their work they have laid down cracking visuals to their video for the Royal T Remix.   Set mostly around Shoreditch’s 24 hour beigel strip, this video is especially cracking as it features me in my JDilla t-shirt for literally a couple of seconds around the 1.52 mark.  You can send my royalty cheque in the post guys, thanks!
