Rivington Grill Shoreditch

rivington grill

Rivington Grill focuses on the best of British food and cooking.  They offer a broad seasonal menu which reflects the heritage of Britain and they use ingridents sourced from small independent suppliers, where possible.  As we are now firmly in Spring, signature ingridents include, new turnips, wild asparagus, cornish new potatoes, Jersey Royals, spring greens, wild sea kale and St George’s mushrooms.  The spring lamb comes from the British fields and they have short gull’s eggs until 15th May.

The Diner is an Authentic American Diner that’s open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Diner is situated in the heart of Shoreditch on Curtain road (right next to Fix 126) they also have branches in Camden, Soho, Islington and Kensal Rise. The Diner interior is colourful and bright and is kitted out with comfy red leather booths and on all the tables there are bottles of heinz tomato ketchup and french mustard.

They have all day breakfast, which includes pancakes, breakfast burrito’s, waffles, french toast, hash browns and the Hungry Man’s Breakfast as well as a selection of salads, burgers, sandwiches, hot dogs, desserts, milkshakes and much much more. My favourite food at The Diner include; Banana Pancakes, Mexican Breakfast (2 Eggs, Chorizo, Black Beans, Tortilla & Tomato Salsa), Mexican burger, The Diablo, Chicken Fajita, Onion Rings, Sweet Potato Fries, Chilli Cheese Fries, Chicken Caesar, Hot Chocolate and there variety of shakes.

It’s also great as the waiters and waitresses are shoreditch cool and fit in great with the 1950′s vibe.

It’s a great place for casual meetings and catching up with friends for all american comfort food any day anytime of the week with there 50′s style decor and rock n roll tunes.

If there was ever a place to escape the hustle and bustle of city and life, and withdraw yourself into a calm, collected, nurturing atmosphere, then Haggerston Tea Rooms is the place to be.

Just a stone’s throw from Haggerston station, the Tea Room provides a unique, fulfilling sense of enjoyment not only in its high quality products, but in its intention to give the best customer service possible.

The locally produced jams and inviting artwork encourage relaxation and conversation; just how tea was meant to be taken! Artisan bread and an attractive variety of jams, cakes and soothing teas are waiting to be tasted again and again; because once you’ve visited this cosy almost-home, it’ll be hard to stay away.

Frankly, Haggerston Tea Rooms is much, much more than a shop. It is a gem that glorifies the unique traditions that made Britain what it is, and with the approachable and friendly staff, the Tea Room honestly won’t feel any different than your front room.

The Elbow Room is one of my personal favourite spots down the ditch with a nice and relaxing atmosphere and friendly helpful staff.  Situated in the heart of the East End in cool and vibrant Shoreditch, The Elbow Room is a great spot to meet, enjoy great food, amazing drinks and, of course, to play pool on one of seven fantastic tables. Tables do get busy so during busy periods table time is limited to one hour so your never waiting too long, and you can always kick back and chill with a drink on their comfy sofas.

Thai Thai East – Old Street

Old Street’s Thai Thai restaurant is the one of the East End’s little gems with far ranging appeal to hipster socialites and East End locals.  If you are a Thai Green Curry or Pad Thai chicken connoisseur look no further than Thai Thai.  With beautiful ambience for a relaxed atmosphere and charming wood furnishings Thai Thai is a great place for a meal with friends and colleagues.  A special mention for the pumpkin curry must be made as we quickly approach Halloween, a item on the menu that provides a genuinely unique offering.  Staff are friendly, courteous and polite  so you can rest assured that you will receive service with a smile.
